Finally the suspense was revealed yesterday at 3pm, at St Regis Hotel,Palladium
AJIO.com the trendy fashion e-commerce website from Reliance Industries launched its first women’s wear brand ‘AJIO Own’ the private label at the glittering show during Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016.
The site features a mix of merchandise available on the website AJIO.com, which includes private labels, local, international and Indie brands.
Divided into five collections, the show opened with an intriguing and mysterious audio visual presentation that further heightened the excitement for the brand.
Gender No Bar
The first segment offered pantsuit, checked capris, black tunic, leather biker jacket with ikat sari, tie-up blouse and a white skirt/blouse combo teamed with a black/white jacket. The first surprise entry to end this segment was Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, the voice of the LGBT movement. Who looked radiant in a black, white and red ikat sari.
Role No Bar collection opened with a pink biker blouse over a printed mini sheath, long waistcoat, pants, shirt-dress, silver blouse and ended with a will-power navy bustier teamed with a white/navy skirt. Suman Sharma the country’s first MIG and F16 pilot walked the ramp to complete one section of the show in a smart blue pant suit and white Tee.
Size No Bar with red pants, printed top, flared cropped tank, printed mini, shaded fuchsia/purple maxi and a printed blouse with mini skirt. Making a great entry was Tellywood’s Comedy Queen, Bharati Singh who looked pretty in a blue layered silk mini yoke.
Age No Bar was highlighted with the display of a purple long kurta over white skirt, black/white belted dress, maroon kurta, white flared top and brought the red shirt dress with a grey soft cover at the end. The Dancing Diva, Helen rocked her way down the ramp looking stunning in black capris, kurta and a colourful Patola dupatta.The final and the last section
Choice No Bar showcased exquisite ikat saris in multi hues of red, black, white, fuchsia and orange in cotton and silk. The showstopper was the sensational Bollywood beauty Sunny Leone who was gracefully draped in a black/white/red sari and white blouse.
Overall I loved the show throughout and it was simply amazing to look all the beautiful ladies walk the ramp after each segment 😀
